Summer Financial Aid Application Process

Summer term is always the last term of the University of St. Thomas academic year for financial aid. To apply for summer financial aid:

  1. Have the FAFSA for the current academic year on file.  (For summer 2024, the 2023-24 FAFSA is needed.)
  2. Register in at least 3 credits at the University of St. Thomas (or through an approved study abroad program).
  3. Submit the Summer 2024 Financial Aid Application for Graduate Students after your summer registration is finalized. 

Please note: If you have been admitted to start in the summer, you must file two FAFSAs.  For summer, you will need to file the FAFSA for the current academic year (2023-24).  For the upcoming fall and spring terms, you will need to file the FAFSA for the upcoming academic year (2024-25).
