University-Sponsored Travel

University-sponsored travel is any travel that occurs as part of an individual’s role and/or responsibilities at St. Thomas or is paid for with university resources. This includes travel to conferences, band/choir trips, independent studies, and off-campus site visits.

Day excursions, including field trips, do not qualify as overnight travel. Consult your department policies if you are considering travel that is not overnight.
