Healthcare Professions Living Learning Community​

Healthcare Professions living learning community will live in Tommie North Residence Hall together where they will be able to develop lasting relationships with students who are considering a career in the healthcare field. Members of this LLC learn about different options for healthcare careers and will discuss strategies for how to strengthen their professional school applications through patient contact experience, human service volunteering, and test preparation.

Please note that students who participate in this LLC need a Math Placement of MATH 108 or higher. Residence Life and Academic Counseling cannot accept your preference in this LLC with a Math Placement lower than MATH 108. The BIOL 207 course requires a Math Placement as it directly connects with a students’ ability to do math within the course. If you have taken the ACT, please be sure that this information is in your admissions paperwork. If your ACT Math score was 23 or higher, you do not have to take the math placement.
