Hidden Stories brings the St. Thomas community together through storytelling and place. Created in partnership with Wonderlust Productions and with support from the College of Arts and Sciences, the project grew out of story circles with students, staff, faculty and alumni whose experiences helped inspire ten original audio adventures.
Listen from wherever you are, or explore the St. Paul campus and experience each story in the place that inspired it. However you choose to explore, Hidden Stories invites you to slow down, look closer and discover something unexpected.

Every corner of St. Thomas’ St. Paul campus has a story to tell. That’s what students set out to discover, refine, record and produce in collaboration with our partners at Wonderlust Productions. Watch episode 1 of the Behind the Scenes to learn more.
The process begins with St. Thomas students engaging in community listening - with neighbors, staff, alumni and fellow students - to discern a broad range of potential stories. Watch episode 2 of Behind the Scenes to learn more.
After vetting ideas with faculty, students collaborate with professional playwrights to test and hone scripts worth bringing to audio production - including script reading performances in front of a live audience. Watch episode 3 of Behind the Scenes to learn more.
Once scripts are finalized, students work alongside professional audio producers to cast, record, edit and produce each story. Students see how initial instincts evolve into written scripts, get refined through live script reads, then come to life in the recording studio. Watch episode 4 of Behind the Scenes to learn more.
