The Murray Institute, a collaboration between the University of St. Thomas and the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, was established in 1992 to support and sustain the educational ministries of the Archdiocese by providing funding for advanced degrees and professional training for its teachers and religious educators.
Eligibility and Admissions
Benefits-eligible employees working within the educational ministries of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis can pursue Murray Institute approved degree programs and courses at the University of St. Thomas tuition-free. Learn more about the eligibility requirements and how to apply.
Program Offerings
The Murray Institute supports a variety of graduate degrees and certifications at the University of St. Thomas within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Engineering and the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity.
Support Our Mission
The Murray Institutes operate solely from the income generated by our endowment funds. Every contribution strengthens a Catholic school or parish by advancing the degreee opporturnites of its educators.
