National Jurist Magazine ranks the University of St. Thomas #2 for Practical Training

The National Jurist Magazine, spring 2017 edition, ranks the University of St. Thomas #2 for Practical Training. The rankings combine clinic, externship, simulation courses, and interschool competitions. The University of St. Thomas has consistently achieved this ranking because we offer a full range of coursework in practical training, from Mediation course with its emphasis on simulations to the Catholic Social Thought and the United Nations clinic that takes students to New York each spring. A critical foundation to our practical training is our externship program, starting with the mentor externship. And much credit also goes to the adjunct faculty, faculty and staff at the Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services.
