North Star Nature: A Writer's Collection of Spiritual and Scientific Observations from Nature

Session Description: Through photographs and words, we'll share in the instructor's love of nature across Minnesota, how it is imbued with science and how it can enrich our lives with beauty and teach us about ourselves. The presentation will include relfective essays from various places and seasons across Minnesota.

Session Information: Wednesday, March 9, 2022, 10:00-11:40 a.m. This is a live-streamed, online program. Registrants will receive information by email to access the program. The actual Join URL will be sent out to registrants two business days prior to the session. Session EducatorDenise Brake is a scientist and looks at the world with an observant eye. Nature and animals were her first loves growing up in South Dakota and Pennsylvania, and they continue to have a hold on her heart. After her three children fledged the nest, she began taking photographs and writing weekly blog posts.
