Exploring the Psychology of Personality

Lecture Series Description: This course will review the Big 5 trait model and contrast it with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator of personality measurement. Attendees will be able to measure and reflect upon their own set of Big 5 traits and how they may have developed over their lifespan as well as what they may predict about their future health and wellbeing. We will discuss a range of theoretical, biological and cultural explanations for what makes individuals different from each other and what we have in common to function as a social species.

Lecture Series Information: Thursdays, 1:00-2:45 p.m., starting September 22, 2022, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center Auditorium, University of St. Thomas St. Paul Campus and simulcast online via Zoom.
