Department of Psychology

About the Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of St. Thomas offers you numerous opportunities for a vibrant, stimulating and deep engagement of the psychology field. Our program features over 30 unique courses that cover a wide breadth of knowledge in psychology, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty on research throughout your time as an undergraduate student.

As a psychology student, you will do what psychologists do, and learn as psychologists learn. Whether you are working in a professor's lab or exploring human behavior and mental processes in the classroom, you will gain extensive first-hand psychology research experience throughout your time at St. Thomas. You will live the St. Thomas mission by thinking critically about behavior and thinking, applying this knowledge skillfully to advance the common good inside and outside of the classroom.
