Support the Prolife Center
The need for the Prolife Center is clear. Our nation’s laws can be changed to protect the unborn, the elderly and the sick. But we must do our part to ensure that there are enough attorneys willing and able to make these changes happen.
Over the past year, the Prolife Center has made significant strides toward accomplishing our mission of training law students and attorneys to protect life. Despite limited funding, we have already:
- Hosted multiple prolife speakers, including Helen Alvare, Clark Forsythe and Paul Linto
- Conducted a continuing legal education (CLE) course regarding Defending Religious Liberty
- Put Roe v. Wade on trial to illustrate the legal process and the potential options for overturning this ruling for high school students
- Assisted foreign diplomats with evaluating resolutions proposed by the UN Commission to Eliminate Discrimination Against Women
This is only the beginning of what we can do to protect life.
With your financial support, we can undertake even more initiatives such as offering scholarships for prolife students, creating legal training materials for crisis pregnancy centers and sidewalk counselors, and hosting a regional workshop to develop prolife scholarly articles. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to the University of St. Thomas Prolife Center.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible gift to the center, please visit the Prolife Center online giving page. In the 'Choose your Designation' field, if the Prolife Center in the School of Law is not pre-selected, select it.
