Using rich visuals as inspiration, workshop participants will sing, say, dance, and play their way through the morning. Stunning works of art will help spawn ideas for movement, improvisation, speech and song. Come find new ideas to re-energize your music classroom while making important co-curricular connections! 

Laura Bercaw-Peterson teaches general and choral music at St. Patrick's Episcopal Day school in Washington, D.C.  Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Gettysburg College and completed her Master of Music in Music Education at George Mason University. She holds Level II and Master Level IV certifications from George Mason University and has studied at the Orff Institut in Salzburg, Austria. Laura teaches movement in AOSA-approved summer teacher education courses and is an invited presenter both locally and nationally. She recently completed her term as Region IV representative on the National Board of Trustees of the American Orff-Schuwerk Association.
