Where to find us

The University of St. Thomas Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services (IPC) is located at the corner of 10th Street and Harmon Place in downtown Minneapolis, in the Minneapolis Education Center (we share a street entrance with the Fair School Downtown).

By Bus

The Center is located about three blocks from both the 7^th Street Garage Transit Center (at 7^th Street and First Avenue North) and the Leamington Transit Center (at 11^th Street and Second Avenue South) in Downtown Minneapolis.

From the 7^th Street Garage Transit Center (serving bus routes 5, 8, 9, 19, 22, 39, 61, 134, 194, 452, 673): Walk one and a half blocks southeast to Hennepin Avenue. Take a right on Hennepin Avenue and walk three blocks to 10^th Street. Take a left on 10^th Street and walk one block to the Minneapolis Education Center. The entrance to the building is on 10^th Street.

From the Leamington Transit Court (serving bus routes 10, 25, 250, 260, 270, 766, 852): Walk northwest on 11^th Street towards the center of downtown. Walk four blocks, take a right on Harmon Place and walk one more block to 10^th Street. The Center is on the corner of 10^th Street and Harmon Place across from the FAIR School Downtown. The entrance to the building is on 10^thStreet.

By Car

From the west metro area: Take I-394 East to the 12^th Street exit in downtown Minneapolis. Take 12^th Street to Harmon Place. Turn left on Harmon. The Center is on the corner of 10^th Street and Harmon.

From the east metro area: Take I-94 West to the 11^th Street exit. Follow 11^th Street to Harmon Place. Take a right on Harmon Place. The Center is at the next corner at 10^th Street and Harmon Place. The entrance to the building is on 10^th Street.

From the south metro area: Take I-35W North to the downtown Minneapolis exits. Take the 11^th Street exit and follow signs to 11^th Street. Take 11^th Street to Harmon Place. Take a right on Harmon Place. The Center is at the next corner at 10^th Street and Harmon Place. The entrance to the building is on 10^th Street.

From the north metro area: Take I-94 East to the Hennepin/Lyndale exit. At the first stop light, take a left on Hennepin Avenue towards downtown Minneapolis. Take Hennepin Avenue to 12^th Street. Take a right on 12^th Street, go one block to Harmon Place. The Center is on the corner of 10^th Street and Harmon Place, next to the FAIR School Downtown. The entrance to the building is on 10^th Street.

If you have reserved parking in our UST Surface Parking Lot:

Depending on what direction you are traveling from, you would stay on 12^th Street until LaSalle Ave. Take a left on LaSalle Ave and a left into the surface parking lot which is on LaSalle Ave. between 11^th and 12^th street. Or stay on 11^th Street until LaSalle Ave. Take a left on LaSalle and a right into the surface parking lot which is on LaSalle Ave. between 11^th and 12^thstreet. If you have reserved parking in our Back Parking Lot:

Depending on what direction you are traveling from, you must enter from 10^th and Hennepin Avenue near the Hennepin @ 10th Ramp. If coming off of 10^th street, take a left at the Hennepin Avenue light and then take an almost immediate right down the alleyway. If coming from Hennepin Avenue proceed past 10^th street and turn right behind the FAIR School. between 11^th and 12^thstreet. Please see our IPC Back Parking 2021 document below for more information.
