AMAA@St. Thomas

The American Museum of Asmat Art at the University of St. Thomas (AMAA@St. Thomas) has a deep and contextual collection of work by the Asmat people of Papua, Indonesia, in the western part of the island of New Guinea. The Diocese of Agats, the American Crosier Fathers and Brothers, and the original American Museum of Asmat Art donated the collection to the University in 2007. Rotating exhibitions are on view in The Gallery on the second floor of the Anderson Student Center.
