A bachelor's degree from a U.S. regionally accredited institution (or international equivalent) and a minimum GPA of 2.7 is required. The GRE/GMAT is not required.

Through our research, partnerships, and educational programs we produce innovative engineers and technology leaders for the 21st century. Our vision is to be one of the premiere applied engineering research centers in the area of distributed energy resources and microgrids enabling a secure, resilient and carbon-free electric grid for the 21st century.
Many local industries reach out to us to hire our students for employment. Employers in the tech industry will often send us their job postings each week which we will pass along to students.
Students can seek on-campus employment for the University of St. Thomas by visiting and reviewing job postings through Career Services department.
Students have the option to do a master’s project. This project may be an applied project to solve a problem for industry or compliment an existing research project that a faculty member is currently pursuing. Depending on the size and scope of the project, students will complete their master’s project in one or two semesters.
